Hey there! My name is Colin Timm and I founded Fair Is Fair in May 2021 as a way to develop an unconventional business model that puts fairness first. It’s a means of devoting myself to the values, skills, and crafts that are most important to me. Naturally, I do my best work when I’m creating products that are also important to me, which is how I’ve landed on building unique, functional, off-grid camper vans. I absolutely love biking, hiking, and eating my way across the country in a van and I hope to extend that opportunity to you.
Fair Is Fair believes that profit is not the reason for work, but a product of the value created through work. Margin of profit is a direct reflection of the quality of work and the customer’s satisfaction.
Colin has prior professional experience in automotive engineering, product design, and culinary arts. This diverse portfolio has helped shape him into a creative designer, efficient problem solver, and an ethical, effective communicator.
When he’s not building a van, you’ll most likely find Colin biking, climbing, gardening, cooking, or eating!
